Nice. I cured world hunger, solved the energy crisis with half a tenth of a degree shift in global temp, and uplifted a whole new sentient species without ever exerting any overt martial or political force. Retired with over twenty billion in the bank, too. The trick is to move really fast and break things, wringing everything you can from individual investments and then abandoning them as soon as anyone complains.
I may have increased teenage suicide rates by a minor 3000%
Nothing to see here...
Oh, that's chilling. I can only agree with one of the other comments - so simple, yet so effective. The "collateral" and "achievements" screens not being visible by default really means you can just keep ignoring both. I also love the choice to have achievements illustrate currently ongoing global inequality. Really well-thought-out, and the result clearly reflects that!
Great game! It's simple in its' design but It illustrates a point well. I rally like the blocked assets giving the player a sense of which entities in society that suffers from capitalism and actually tries to fight back as well as the collateral tab which is kind of hidden but keeps track of the actual costs of the system. Great job! :)
Boy, I hope there's no end condition; I could just keep making billions forever! And with absolutely no collateral costs as long as I never click on the "Collateral" tab!
No worries, there are infinite resources to exploit and infinite wealth for everyone, just like the neoliberals say!
